Description

Welcome to Brittany ! Our town of nearly 9000 citizens is located on the edge of the forest allowing you to relax in the countryside while remaining close Brittany’s capital. You can also visit St Malo with its large beach only 45 min away by car and the Mont St Michel 1h30 away. Remaining close to the competition, Paris being located 1h30 away by train or 55mn by plane. Our sports complex of La Vigne offers a gymnasium and a room dedicated to table tennis with 1207 m² of playing surface and a capacity of 400 places. It is approved for national competitions and for the championships of our first team playing in Pro B. The large surface of the complex (table tennis room + gymnasium + club house + meeting room, ...) allows us to propose catering on the spot (via a caterer) and offer several training rooms. The hall is perfectly adapted to people with disabilities, including wheelchair users. The table tennis association also has a handisport section. We are ready to welcome you in the best conditions!

Special features

At your disposal: a weight room, a physiotherapy room, spacious locker rooms, a meeting room, a club-house of 75m² with television and internet access. The gym also has a large free parking lot. A doctor’s and physiotherapist’s office is located in the immediate vicinity of the hall. In our town, you will benefit from a varied restoration (pancake restaurant, pizzeria, traditional restaurant, Asian, kebab, …) and an aquatic center “Ker Aqua” with its 3 spaces (swimming pool, well being and sport and health) which will allow you to practise aquabike, aquagym, swimming, to take advantage of the sauna, hammam and the ice cellar,…).

To recharge your batteries, the forest will also allow you to go out on bike or on foot.

Known for

Major sporting events are organized in the table tennis room. First of all, the ProB Men’s championship matches. Every year, several national competitions are organized such as the National N1 criterium organized in November 2021.

The club of Thorigné-Fouillard has also welcomed foreign delegations in the early 2000s: 2 European League matches (France/Germany in 2001 and France/Czech Republic in 2003).

In 2012, a Chinese delegation trained at the Complexe de la Vigne as part of the sports cooperation between the Region and Shandong.
