Description
Created in 1997 on the banks of the Meurthe in Nancy in renovated former industrial buildings, the Nautical Centre offers approved facilities for high-level sport in a natural setting. In addition to the premises housing the athletes and boats of the rowing and canoeing clubs, the centre has a number of important assets, including the La Méchelle lake, a white water course of more than 300 metres, a 2,500-metre pool, 3 weight training and general physical preparation rooms, ergometer rooms, cardio-trainers/swingulators, a large meeting room, etc. The site also hosts the residents of the French rowing and canoeing centres.
