Description

A 720-meter-high thermal city with winter and summer sports facilities, enjoying a tourism accommodation infrastructure of 16000 beds. The city of Ax-les-Thermes with its mountains around provide an ideal environment for sports practice and physical training: fitness and hiking trails, rock-climbing routes, mountaineering, downhill mountain biking, enduro mountain bike racing, adventure tree climbing. The large thermal pool complex (spa, saunas, steam rooms, Roman baths: frigidarium, caldarium…) is perfect for after-training relaxation. A dynamic and popular city with plenty of cultural events and sports opportunities. A great variety of quality hotels and restaurants. You will be able to make the most of our tennis facilities with clay tennis courts: 4 outdoor clay courts (with spotlights) located in a quiet area and 2 indoor clay courts with a clubhouse.

The tennis complex is located in a quiet and shaded (age-old trees) environment next to a swimming pool, bar and quick serve restaurant. Short walks (no more than 15 mns) will take you everywhere around into town.

Known for

Our complex regularly welcomes French and Spanish ATP tennis players. A number of high-ranked tournaments are organised yearly.

The city also hosts a large number of international sports events.
