This equipment is located in the heart of the city of Le Creusot, close to all the necessary services and shops (hotels / restaurants / landscaped park / leisure park, etc.) for an optimal training environment. Completely renovated in 2020, the Jean Garnier stadium is an essential reference today and can radiate beyond its perimeter thanks to an exceptional transport service: 1h30 by TGV train to Paris (Gare de Lyon), 40 minutes to reach the center of Lyon by TGV and 1h50 by motorway to reach Saint-Exupéry airport (Lyon). With many adjoining rooms that allow the installation of medical and technical teams (physiotherapists, physical trainers, etc.), this latest generation stadium offers cutting-edge preparation for the most demanding athletes who want to combine high-level training with the comfort of a unique site placed at the crossroads of the great Burgundian wines, the Morvan mountains and the Charolais countryside, renowned for its gastronomy.

A unique place for training and leisure activities: Located in the immediate vicinity of an aquatic complex, a tourist park (attractions, tourist train, hiking and mountain biking circuits, Karting….), and all amenities, this site does not require the use of a vehicle.

In addition, this facility allows the particularly dynamic local club  with more than 300 licensees, to play at the national level N2 and to host large outdoor and indoor events.

The local club EALC, which is particularly invested in the promotion and development of athletics in the region, is renowned for its ability to organize major events in partnership with the city of Le Creusot:

Semi-final of the French Cross Country Championships (2016 – 2020) and on the run for the organization of the 2020 final.

Departmental indoor athletics championships (every year since 2012)
