Description

Located south of Grenoble (Isère) in the Oisans alpine massif, the Sports & Leisure Centre is located in the heart of the village of Vaujany.  Vaujany, a small summer/winter mountain resort (350 inhabitants/4000 tourist beds) is linked to the international ski area of Alpe d'Huez.   At an altitude of 1250 m, the Sports & Leisure Centre is located in a preserved mountain environment that is conducive to sports activities. It brings together in one place the various indoor sports facilities: aquatic area, ice rink and gymnasium. It also includes a fitness room. Easily accessible in both summer and winter, Vaujany and its Sports & Leisure Centrer are located 1 hour's drive from Grenoble (SNCF station - TGV Paris 3 hours) and 1 hour 45 minutes from Lyon Saint Exupéry airport. Numerous free car parks allow buses to park close to the centre. The Sports & Leisure Centre is complemented by meeting rooms of various sizes, an auditorium and convivial spaces that will allow teams to meet in complete serenity for their work sessions. The accommodation and catering facilities are varied and can be adapted to the needs of the teams.

Located in the heart of a natural mountain environment, the centre benefits from a high environmental quality and the open spaces offer multiple possibilities for complementary outdoor sports: hiking, trail running, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowshoeing.

The small size of the resort is an undeniable asset. All the facilities are nearby: training centres, accommodation, shops are less than 5 minutes away by walk and can be reached without using transport.

Lifts and escalators make it easy to get around and encourage environmentally friendly mobility.

The station’s teams know how to adapt and respond to the needs of sports teams. Experienced in hosting high-level athletes since 2012, they respond with agility to  various requests.
