Description

Located in the heart of the city, in the immediate vicinity of the A9 motorway and local shops, the Sports and Friendship Park is an emblematic sports complex of Narbonne, equipped with many facilities to allow the greatest number, professionals or amateurs, to practice the sporting activity that suits them. The equipment contributes to the influence of the territory through the hosting of exceptional events and the regular organization of professional rugby matches. The stadium which surrounds the main pitch has a capacity of 12,000 people. It meets international standards for the practice of rugby. In 2021 and 2022, the City of Narbonne is investing nearly € 6 million to support the high standards of users and service providers, while improving the equipment and services offered. The stadium has been pre-selected by the International Rugby Federation to eventually become a training camp for a foreign team, at the next Rugby World Cup in 2023. Thanks to its many past experiences, the City of Narbonne has high-level know-how to welcome delegations in optimal conditions.

A natural grass pitch (international rugby standards) allowing the programming of training sessions behind closed doors and the organization of matches in the presence of the public. Led lighting (> 1000lux).

Additional fields (including a synthetic turf pitch) and an athletics track.

A weight room suitable for rugby players and a recovery pool (40m²).

Various meeting rooms and equipment storage rooms, a large marquee to accommodate 550 people.
