Located in the town of Matoury 10 km from Félix Eboué airport and 8 km from Cayenne, the capital city, the Georges Théolade Regional Omnisport Palace (PROGT) is made up of three fully covered, independent and versatile sports areas; and a weight room; allowing the reception of people with reduced mobility and the technical practice of several disciplines (basketball, handball, volleyball, badminton, tennis, table tennis, futsal, martial arts, dance, gymnastics, etc.) without neglecting physical maintenance; all in a natural and green space.
Each sports area is made up of several changing rooms and natural ventilation, thus making it possible to easily comply with barrier gestures in times of a pandemic. Each space also offers an air-conditioned office for possible debriefings after training. Located in the heart of a natural space, the PROGT ensures total discretion and privacy for the teams.

But also the national women’s handball teams of France and Norway, as part of the preparation for the 2003 world championships, where France was crowned World Champion.
