Description

The Théatre-Sénart, belonging to the national stage label, was inaugurated in autumn 2015. This cultural centre is a place to share emotions, support artists and educate everyone on culture. The facility is located near the Carré Sénart shopping centre. It has a large rehearsal room, the René Gonzalès room. It has a dimension of 19m by 14m, i.e. 294m² and a height of 4.5m. The floor is optimal for Olympic Games preparation given its characteristic of being a real dance floor used frequently by professionals, and for having easily hidden mirrors and fixed bars. This dance hall is perfectly equipped, with its professional lighting and very low resonance level, as well as a professional sound system (USB, Bluetooth, Jack connectivity), making it ideal for creative teams and projects. The René Gonzalès hall is adjacent to a 500m² landscaped interior patio which provides natural light during the day. The complex also provides showers in both the collective and individual rooms which would be made available for all athletes.

Special features

All around this theatre, we find large green natural spaces with a calm and peaceful environment. The Théâtre-Sénart has a beautiful interior patio of 500m² in the centre of the building.

Due to its very recent construction, the facilities of this equipment are perfectly optimized to accommodate and aid in the preparation of high performance athletes.

The quality of the professional equipment offered (brightness, lighting) is also taken into account.

Known for

This theatre hosted the now international “Blow Your Style World Battle” event in 2019. This competition is organised by members of the Flow Killerz Crew.

The popularity of this competition was not dampened by the global pandemic as a digital edition with social media voting was organised during the health crisis. The next edition will be held in 2022 at the same location.

“Blow Your Style World Battle” is one of the major competitions in France in the Breakdance sport, bolstering the reputation of this infrastructure.
