Description
The Schiltigheim Nautical Centre was inaugurated in 1971, while the change rooms were renovated in 2015. It has 3 pools:
- a 50 m sports swimming pool with 8 lanes
- a separate diving pool with a 10 m covered diving board
- a small teaching pool
Special features
Easy motorway access, with a car park
The Olympic pool measures 50 m by 21 m. The deep end (2.20 m) has competition starting blocks; The shallow end (1.30 m) has simple starting blocks.
Diving is carried out separately from the Olympic pool, using a 20 m x 20 m pool with a depth of 4.80 m. The diving platform has 3 boards at 1 m, 3 boards at 3 m (one of which is fixed), as well as 3 platforms at 5 m, 7.50 m and 10 m. The pool also has a bubbler.
There is also a DOJO, an 800 m² public lobby with an area for snacks or meals, and a rowing tank (8 seats).
2 meeting rooms are available upstairs.
Access to the pools and stands for people with reduced mobility (ramp and lift).
