Description

The Pierre Talagrand Aquatic and Sports Centre is located on Place Barberousse in the centre of Dole, a town of Art and History and close to the Robin Bobin Stadium. It offers a multitude of spaces for high-level sportsmen and women. The complex can accommodate about fifteen different sports (team sports, combat, climbing, swimming...): 3 gymnasiums for team sports, a dojo, a 7m high climbing room, a weight room for clubs, a multisports room, one  50 m Nordic pool with (4 lines), 3 covered pools: a 5-lined 25 m pool, a learning pool and a play pool. The building also has a snack bar with a capacity of 35 places. A dry wellness area: a cardio room and a fitness room.... for the preparation of sportsmen and women. A wet wellness area : 2 saunas, a hammam, an 8-seater jacuzzi, a circuit of themed showers and 2 massage cabins... for the recovery of athletes.   The Robert Bobin Stadium is located on Avenue de Lahr, in the heart of Dole, a city of Art and History. It includes an athletics track with 6 x 400 m and 8 X 100 running tracks, a throwing area, 2 long jump areas, 2 high jump areas and 1 pole vault area. It is equipped with an electronic stopwatch. In the centre of the track there is a field with a hybrid/mixed grass for football and rugby activities. There is  also an adjacent covered Boules pitch.

Dole is renowned for its many restaurants and hotels not far from the Talagrand Aquatic and Sports Centre and Robert Bobin Stadium.

A greenway makes it easy to move from one bank of the Doubs to the other to get to cultural venues (cinema, theatre) or other outdoor sports activities (Accrobranche, Aquaparc Isis, landscaped park) and not to mention/(Not forgetting) the Forêt de Chaux, the second largest deciduous forest in France, which will be an ideal warm-up site.
