Just a 10-minute walk from Meudon Val-Fleury RER C station, the René-Leduc sports complex is one of the oldest sports centres in the city. Its facilities include an athletics track, a rugby stadium, a gymnasium, tennis courts and an Olympic-size swimming pool.   The stadium’s two-year renovation project cost €7.8 million, of which €2,379 million financed by the Hauts-de-Seine Departmental Council, €320,000 by the Île-de-France region and €27,000 by the French government. The remainder was self-financed by the city of Meudon.   Its dedicated rugby stadium is one of the best in the region, boasting:

• A 112 m x 72 m playing area, including recesses;
• A state-of-the-art synthetic pitch, sprayed for ease of play;
• A grandstand with 350 seats and space for 18 wheelchairs;
• 6 changing rooms with adjoining shower area;
• A 100 m² club house with bay window overlooking the stadium, a reception area and views of the training grounds;
• Parking for buses and coaches;
• Drug-testing facilities, an infirmary and offices.

Special features

Delegations are also free to use the multi-sport gymnasium and Olympic-size swimming pool nearby.
The centre offers all of the facilities needed for high-level rugby players, even at night with dimmable LED lighting.

Known for

For the past two years, the Stade Français Elite women’s team and Stade Français hopefuls have trained and played here regularly. The stadium was also selected as the rugby sevens delegations’ training centre for the 2020 Paris Sevens.
