Description

Located west of Toulouse, the French space and aeronautics capital, this sports complex of over 5600m² opened in Tournefeuille in 2017. A public transport network serves the Quéfets sports complex allowing easy access to an international airport (10 minutes away) and train station (14 minutes away). This well-equipped sports centre boasts international level indoor climbing walls, two multisport playing fields, 8 changing facilities, three conference rooms and body building equipment. Special features

This sports complex is an exceptional climbing facility consisting of:

-a 14.5m high by 49m wide lead climbing wall

-a 15m high international standard speed wall

-a 4.5m high and 49m wide bouldering wall

-a variety of campus boards and holds, some specifically aimed at speed improvement

-two spray walls for training

We pay very careful attention to route openings by calling in international openers and in that respect, we pride ourselves with equipping our walls with holds designed for competitions of high standards.

Within a twenty-minute radius we count no less than a dozen private climbing halls thereby increasing the possibilities of varied training sessions.

Close to the Quéfets sports complex you also have a running track, a synthetic field and an aquatic centre allowing for physical preparation and recuperation.

As for catering and hospitality facilities you will find a residential hotel and various restaurants available to hosting the delegations only two minutes away from the Quéfets sports complex.

Known for

Our climbing structures are the all-year-round structure for our Pôle Espoir and Team France athletes. In 2019 we have been blessed in having to host an international delegation for several days. The Quéfets sports complex also held the 2018 and 2019 French Chamionships.

Furthermore, the Town’s experience in organising international sports events is undoubtedly an asset. Indeed, Tournefeuille hosted the first qualifying tournament for Olympic climbing hence providing us with international recognition of our sports facilities and proficiency.
