Description

In a serene and unspoiled setting, Le Mans offers high-quality sports facilities less than an hour away from Paris by high-speed train, or two hours by road. The Centre for Sporting Excellence boasts three major facilities: a stadium, a sports hall, and a velodrome. Situated very close to each other, they form a sports village, where one can get about on foot and where interaction, between athletes and with visitors, is facilitated. This centre is the site of Le Mans’ major sporting and cultural events. High-level athletes come here, confident in the knowledge that they will be able to use equipment adapted to their discipline. An enthusiastic and knowledgeable public gathers here, in a convivial atmosphere. The proximity of the fabled 24 Hours circuit further enhances the renown and the attractiveness of the site. Thanks to its tram station and easy accessibility, the Centre for Sporting Excellence is close to everything (city centre, hotels, station, green spaces…). Le Mans means less travel time, less stress, and more time to train, to become physically and psychologically prepared. Contact us, let us know what you want, what you need. The City of Le Mans, the sites’ managers and technical teams will make every effort to make your stay pleasant and worthwhile, to make it a real advantage for your athletes in the pursuit of their goals

Special features

The Centre of Sporting Excellence’s equipment is versatile and can be adapted to many disciplines and different configurations (for training as well as public matches). Experience in organising major sporting events and the teams’ expertise guarantee a stay in the best conditions, in calm and serene surroundings.

This site promotes sharing amongst athletes. A delegation wishing to offer open fixtures or training sessions would be sure to encounter a curious and friendly audience.
