Description

Located bang in the center of Clermont-Ferrand and well served with local transport links, Pierre-de-Coubertin watersports stadium boasts a 25m pool and diving pit. It also features a fully retractable roof, offering comfortable conditions for water sports. Recent refurbishment work made space for an Elite Team training facility with changing rooms, a weight training room, and an events space.

Special features

The center offers fabulous facilities for swimmer training and recovery, backed up with meeting-room spaces for coaching staff and trainers.

The centre is also equipped with adaptive and assistive equipment to help swimmers of all abilities in and around the water.

Known for

The pool has hosted the French Masters Championships in 2010, the French Adaptive Sports Championships in 2012, and the first ‘Meeting National des Volcans’ in 2020.
The French Underwater Hockey team chose Pierre-de-Coubertin watersports stadium as their training camp in 2019.
