Description

Palais des Sports Kindarena is located in the heart of Rouen, in Normandy, just 1 hour 15 from Paris and 1 hour 40 from Paris Charles de Gaulle International Airport. Covering 14,000 m², this place is dedicated to major international sporting events and professional or national level local clubs. To train under the best conditions, the Kindarena offers 2 sport halls, a weighttraining room, 8 changing rooms, a care area, an anti-doping control area and 2000 m² of modular spaces that can be converted. The main hall (seats 5,500) meets international sporting standards for most indoor sports (especially Basketball and Handball) while the annex hall is approved for all national level competitions in indoor disciplines. Special features

Due to its central location, Palais des Sports Kindarena is close (10 km maximum) to about thirty 3 to -star hotels. There are also many catering possibilities in the surrounding area, but if you prefer, it is also possible to eat on site  at the Kindarena with a caterer.

For the health of athletes, less than 10 minutes from Kindarena, you have access to the Regional Hospital of Rouen, several medical centers specializing in high-level sport, a cryotherapy center and structures specializing in physical preparation.

Known for

The Rouen Métropole professional Basketball club, which plays in the PRO B championship, trains daily in the main hall and plays all of their matches here.

But the Kindarena is also the French venue (excluding Accor Arena in Paris) which hosts the largest number of national and international indoor competitions each year. In 7 years, we have hosted 35 international events and 42 at national level in 20 different disciplines. We notably hosted 15 pool games of the 2017 World Handball Championship, 2 matches of the French Davis Cup team and one of the Fed Cup in Tennis, 6 matches of the French men’s and women’s Handball teams, 5 matches of the French men’s Basketball team and a France / England match in wheelchair Rugby… Palais des Sports Kindarena is therefore used to receiving delegations from all over the World.
