Description

Ranked among the largest indoor sports facilities in the South Region, the Sports Palace is a multipurpose complex, open to schools, practitioners, as well as members of clubs and associations and professionals. With a capacity of approximately 4 500 seats, it is designed to host high-level sporting events. The modular spaces of the structure allow the simultaneous practice of seven different activities. Are fitted out on the site a sports hall of 2 500 m², approved to host national and international competitions (hand, tennis, climbing, volleyball, basketball, etc.), a training gymnasium of 1 270 m², for the practice of disciplines schools and competitions at national level, as well as gyms, martial arts, climbing wall, climbing room, bodybuilding, cardio-training, fitness. The Sports Palace is also equipped with a sauna as well as a 60m²press room, a 400m² VIP lounge which can host various conferences or colloquiums, and a meeting room with a capacity of 30 people. The construction of the sports complex was accompanied by a development of the contiguous space. In order to connect the structure to the Pont du Las district, a pedestrian footbridge, 100m long, was erected over the A50 motorway. Were also carried out, the creation of roadways, sidewalks and cycle paths embellished with a vegetated environment. The Sports Palace is 1.3km from Toulon train station.

The equipment is fully equipped and suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Thanks to its weight room and sauna, it allows high-level athletes to prepare for the pre-season sports or for various competitions. It can serve as a training center for preparation for high competitions.
