Description

The Palacium hall is part of a sport complex comprising 2 multi-sports rooms with parquet flooring, a gym, a weight room and 2 expression rooms. The parquet flooring, press area, club house and VIP area were renovated in 2020/2021. The main building is equipped with an anti-doping room, referees' changing rooms, 7 players' changing rooms, of kinesitherapy rooms.

Special features

The complex has a secure car park for the reception of the delegations’ buses and officials’ cars.

The complex has several entrances that will allow you to differentiate between athletes, staff, officials, press and spectators.

The complex is located in the heart of the European Metropolis of Lille, close to road, rail and air infrastructures.

The facilities are not far from the hotel complexes and medical facilities in the heart of the city.

Known for

Since 2002, the complex has been hosting the matches of the Women’s Basketball League, Eurocoupe and Euroleague as well as numerous sporting events: matches of the French Women’s Basketball team, matches in preparation for the London Olympics. The equipment is regularly used as a training base for international competitions (World Handball Championship, European Basketball Championship, World Volleyball League) for national teams, including the French, Spanish, Israeli and American teams.
