Situated on the foothills of the Pyrenean chain, namely on the southern slopes of the Canigó Mount (enjoying the label Grand Site de France), the Outdoor Centre Sud Canigó offers a friendly professional space devoted to outdoor sport, nature activities and training sessions meant for Sports federations and sports users of all abilities. Our 5000 m² include a basketball hall as well as various sporting areas designed for high level sportspeople in a beautiful sun-drenched natural framework. The Sports Centre and its accommodations can host disabled persons (lift, ramps, wide circulation areas). This complex is the venue you need for your training sessions. It combines throughout the year the calm of nature with the attractiveness and animations of a thermal resort. The Centre includes an exercise room (guided and cardio machines), a relaxation area (sauna, hammam, jacuzzi and cold bath) and a medical massage area which favor sport performances and physical recovery.

The Centre enjoys a Centre Volley-ball court.

Known for

The Centre Pleine Nature Sud Canigó (or Basket Ball International Centre) is meant for professional basketball players, according to the initiative of Francis Jordane, first trainer of France male seniors from 1987 to 1991. He also managed the Tunisian national basketball team from 2000 to 2001. Therefore, this team regularly practiced there.

France Basketball teams (male and female adults and Juniors) also chose the Centre for their training camps.
