Situated on the foothills of the Pyrenean chain, namely on the southern slopes of the Canigó Mount (enjoying the label Grand Site de France), the Outdoor Centre Sud Canigó offers a friendly professional space devoted to outdoor sport, nature activities and training sessions meant for Sports federations and sports users of all abilities. Our 5000 m² include a basketball hall as well as various sporting areas designed for high level sportspeople in a beautiful sun-drenched natural framework. The Sports Centre and its accommodations can host disabled persons (lift, ramps, wide circulation areas). This complex is the venue you need for your training sessions. It combines throughout the year the calm of nature with the attractiveness and animations of a thermal resort. Near the A9 highway, 50 minutes from the sea, 1 hour from the TGV station and the airport, 1h15 from the Girona Airport (Costa Brava, Spain), 2 hours from Montpellier, 2h30 from Barcelona and Toulouse… its privileged geographical situation, its diversified sports facilities and its experienced staff ensure a successful collaboration. The Centre includes an exercise room (guided and cardio machines), a relaxation area (sauna, hammam, jacuzzi and cold bath) and a medical massage area which favor sport performances and physical recovery.

The Centre enjoys a Centre Volley-ball court.

The Centre is situated at the core of an exceptional natural space. An ideal environment which permits a good blood oxygenation (sport, relaxation, accommodation, catering, auditorium, meeting room, internet connection, nature).

Known for

The Centre Pleine Nature Sud Canigó (or Basket Ball International Centre) is meant for professional basketball players, according to the initiative of Francis Jordane, first trainer of France male seniors from 1987 to 1991. He also managed the Tunisian national basketball team from 2000 to 2001. Therefore, this team regularly practiced there.

France Basketball teams (male and female adults and Juniors) also chose the Centre for their training camps.
