Description

The Osny BMX enclosure is equipped with a 355m track, a club house and a space designed for the reception of the public. The BMX track consists of a starting hill at 5m, a first line of 63m, a second line with a pro and challenge line, and 100 lux lighting at all points of the circuit. The three bends are in asphalt and the straight lines in Vignat sand. The planned building consists of two locker rooms for women and men, a clubhouse and an office. The space reserved for teams will accommodate 40 4x4 m pitches on a total area of 1,300 m². The space reserved for spectators will be independent of the space reserved for drivers and will be protected. The enclosure is integrated into an enclosed space of approximately 1 hectare. The 1,800 m² car park accommodates approximately 70 parking spaces. The site is located at exit 12 of the A15 motorway, 25 minutes from the Stade de France and 36 km from inner Paris in a wooded area near a sports and leisure site.

Special features

The Osny BMX track is located in the heart of the Cergy Pontoise conurbation (210,000 inhabitants) which has many assets in terms of accommodation, catering, transport, leisure and sports activities.

The town of Osny, close to the Vexin Natural Park, has many cultural assets since it was the landmark of many artists in the 19th century. It had the chance to welcome painters such as Monet, Pissarro and Thornley. A museum is also dedicated to him within the Château de Grouchy.

This is one of the most recognized tracks in Ile de France. Many Elite pilots come to train there every year and praise its technical quality.
