Basketball 3*3

Description

This future 3*3 outdoor basketball court is located on two former tennis courts. Its location is pleasant and healthy since we can find nearby the spacious Robinson park as well as the ASCE Canoe-kayak club area juxtaposed to a small water stream in Essonne. The location of the Nacelle site is also close to a gymnasium (which can be used as a backup room in case of bad weather), a middle school, and a community centre located 100m from the site. The cinema room of this community centre can be used for video analysis sessions. The meeting room (45m²) of this community centre is also available. On this new 3*3 basketball court, there will be a 2m25 basketball goal built into the ground, a 12-second shot clock module and a specific 3*3 FIBA approved floor. A 4m high wire fence around the court is present and is in very good condition. Two changing rooms of 25m² and one of 10m² with five showers are available in the gym.

Special features

The world-famous freestyle basketball player Brisco, a resident of Corbeil-Essonnes, is an ambassador for this renovation project.

The possibility of using the rooms (for meetings or screenings) and the changing rooms (with toilets and showers) of the local infrastructures (gymnasium and community centre) adds to the comfort of the athletes in their preparation.

The natural environment with the Essonne river and the numerous green spaces will allow athletes to train in an ideal environment.
