Description

Located in the heart of Provence, only 25 km from Avignon and 30 km from the Mont Ventoux Regional Natural Park, Monteux is a welcoming town of more than 13,000 inhabitants which benefits from a pleasant climate, numerous services, facilities, shops and tourist accommodation, as well as a rich cultural and natural heritage, including the Lake of Monteux. For many years, it has chosen to build on this strength and to invest in modern, high-end sports facilities, which has made it stand out in the region.   The Monteux Sports Hall is located in the city centre of Monteux and allows the practice of many disciplines. It has the advantage of having two separate halls which can accommodate two training areas for weightlifting, one of which is 450 m2. The latter can be configured differently since, thanks to a removable curtain, it can be divided into two parts.   The structure allows for the installation and use of seven simultaneous evolution areas. These will be made ready and configured according to the needs of the delegations.

Special features

Among its assets, the Monteux Sports Hall is very spacious and offers freedom of configuration. It is equipped with a sauna and has a car park for buses.

Its geographical location is ideal: close to the train station to facilitate travel to Avignon (TER) and Paris (TGV), close to a two-lane road leading to the motorway (A7) and one hour from Marseille Provence airport (Marignane).

In the heart of a very touristy region, the Halle des Sports is located approximately at 5 to 15 minutes from hotels and restaurants.

All these assets allow athletes to prepare themselves in good conditions but also to take advantage of the nearby touristic sites: Avignon, the ancient theatre of Orange, the Mont Ventoux…
