Breakdancing

Description

The MJC des Fleurs was rebuilt in 2016 with a desire to promote dance practices including hiphop dance. Throughout the year, it welcomes 80 students in hiphop dance and 40 students in breakdance. It also organizes internships, residencies and master classes during the holidays and on the occasion of its international hiphop dance festival Urban session (the oldest festival in France).

Special features

The MJC des Fleurs has been organizing for 20 years a Hiphop dance festival ‘Urban Session’ and offers several dance classes (Break and Standing). It has acquired for all these years a recognition of the actors of the Hiphop dance community.

We can also benefit from the use of the Gymase of the flower school adjoining the completely renovated MJC,aswell as the new synthetic football field of the  Stade des  Bleuets also adjoining our structure.

Known for

This facility hosts professional dance companies as part of residency, master class as part of its Hiphop dance festival “Urban Session”. The company Last Squad crew world champion of Break came in 2019. The company Horsérie in 2020. The paradoxsal company in 2017 and many hiphop dance companies as part of the Urban Session festival which has 20 years of seniority. We also welcomed the French women’s volleyball team in our premises during an international tournament (reception, transport, logistics, meals, weight room, meeting, projection).
