Description

Choosing to come and train at the Méjannes-le-Clap sports center means deciding to benefit from all the essential assets on a single site for the preparation of your teams to exceed your performances : natural and secure environment, very comfortable accommodation in single or double rooms, organic catering, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, meeting rooms, medical center and space recovery. Drawing on its experience, the sports center specializing in welcoming groups has won over sports teams for more than 40 years by the quality of its services, the availability of its permanent team, the serenity of the place and the Mediterranean scents in the heart of a protected natural area of 3800 hectares. Located on the southern edge of the Cévennes between massifs and gorges of the Cèze, at halfway between the Pont d'Arc and the Pont du Gard, this training center, completely renovated for the occasion, combines sports and nature and becomes the destination from the great south of France for athletes less than an hour from TGV stations in Nîmes and Avignon and major highways. Méjannes-le-clap, classified as a tourist resort, is situated in the heart of the Cèze valley. The nature is everywhere with its flora and fauna. This village has been able to reconcile tourism and natural heritage for a sporting practice that respects its environment. Moreover, the overall configuration of the departmental sports center facilitates team cohesion and avoid any move about by offering an "EVERYTHING ON SITE", with hotel and sports facilities from 20 to  50 meters away.

Special features

Located at an altitude of 300 meters in the middle of the scrubland, away from any distraction, the sports center has the advantage of grouping together on the same site, sports and medical facilities with its hotel, where everything is accessible on foot. The accommodation, completely renovated, consists of about twenty spacious, comfortable rooms with workspace and WiFi, overlooking the large outdoor terrace. Available at any time, organic catering, labeled “Ecocert” and “homemade” is adapted to the eating habits of each delegation. Our caring kitchen team brings balance and flavor to your plates and treat yourself with organic and local seasonal products. For all of  your travel and transfers on site, we have a lot of buses from 9 to 23 seats.

Known for

Since 1977, many sports teams have chosen to go to the countryside in Méjannes-le-Clap before going back to the championships. We can mention the football clubs of PSG and OL, the national hopeful cup for adapted football, the French judo team, the Moroccan national football team, but also for the detection of new talents and advanced course of perfecting of the FFF, FFHB and FFBB. Méjannes-le Clap is also the base camp for international cycling teams for the” Etoile de Bessèges “and a “Tour de France” stage with Mont Bouquet and the Col de la Lusette de l’Aigoual.
