Description
Located to the east of the Greater Nancy Metropolis, the centre is divided into two facilities approved for high-level sport. With more than 20,000 seats, a hybrid track, press facilities, VIP lounges, a supporters' club house and a convivial "street" under the Hazotte stand, the Marcel Picot stadium, the venue for AS Nancy-Lorraine matches, is a modern football venue. At the foot of the main stadium, "Picot" also has two annexed pitches where the ASNL professional reserve team, associations and schoolchildren from the agglomeration play. The Raymond Petit stadium in Tomblaine is a major athletics venue in the region. It will be completely refurbished in 2020 and is entirely dedicated to athletics, with all the facilities needed to practice these disciplines: a 400-metre track with 8 lanes, areas dedicated to throwing, high jump, long jump and pole vault, offices, an infirmary, a doping control centre, a weight room, a 4-lane, 80-metre covered track under the Hazotte stand of the Marcel Picot stadium... Its 1,271-seat stand, plus 20 seats for people with reduced mobility, enables it to host numerous events each year, in particular the Meeting Stanislas, which brings together athletes of international stature, and the solidarity event "Run for Pink October" during the month of the campaign for organised breast cancer screening. This stadium is the headquarters of the Nancy Métropole athletics club, which has been competing at national level for many years.

It remains to this day the most phenomenal gathering in the history of football in France.
International matches for youngsters and women were held there.

Every year at the beginning of the summer, national and international athletes take to the track at the Raymond Petit Stadium during the Meeting Stanislas de Nancy, which is part of the Pro Athlé Tour calendar.
The Raymond Petit Stadium hosted the French Espoirs and National Championships in 2015 and the UNSS World Championships in 2017.
