Description

The town of Saint-Lô, a historic town, surrounded by its ramparts dating from the Middle Ages, is located in the Center-Manche region of Normandy, 70 kilometers from Caen and 300 kilometers from Paris. It enjoys a prime location between the landing beaches and Mont Saint-Michel. This town of 20,000 inhabitants is very close to many services: Hotel, catering, SNCF station, medical services, leisure and cultural facilities, etc. The Louis Villemer Football Stadium in Saint-Lô has a natural grass pitch (105 m x 68 m) with E3 level lighting. It is equipped with a 900-seat grandstand and is located in the immediate vicinity of a training center consisting of a natural grass football pitch and a second synthetic turf pitch, with lighting. The stadium is fully enclosed and has indoor parking to accommodate coaches and vehicles. The stadium has the following indoor facilities: 4 “player” changing rooms (40m² and 25m²), 2 referee changing rooms (27m² and 17m²), offices, medical area, meeting room, clubhouse and reception room (140m²), and it is accessible to people with reduced mobility (lift).

The stadium has quality equipment and the proximity it offers to many services including an aquatic center with a fitness area, and a compact 9-hole golf course (accessible 5 minutes away) make it an ideal center for the preparation of sports.

Besides the national football championship 2 and 3 matches. The stadium hosted European U19 Championship matches in 2010 and 2015. And it is also regularly requested by professional teams (SM CAEN / HAVRE AC / FC LORIENT…) for the organization of pre-season preparation matches.
