The preparation center the Escale in Arnas is ideally located for access to the various sites for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games and we are getting prepared. The Escale is located  from  : 5 min from the A6 motorway exit and close to the A43 and A89 motorways. 30 minutes from  Mâcon-Loché train station and 45 minutes from the Lyon train station and then arriving in Paris within 2 hours. 2 airports: Lyon Saint Exupéry at 40 minutes and Geneva Switzerland at 1h45 to reach Paris in 50 minutes. In the heart of the Beaujolais region and in a natural setting, the Escale is an eco-responsible site and a real complex for high-level sport. The Beaujolais region has been awarded by the UNESCO Global Geopark label, which allows you to get away from it all in the middle of nature and offers a great setting for athletes. This quiet environment allows you to train and concentrate for the future upcoming competitions. Apart from training, the athletes will be able to visit the local heritage. In 2019, the CAVBS has been awarded the "Cities and countries of art and history" label. The entire site is accessible to people with disabilities. Access to the site will be secured. This 25-hectare preparation centre is composed of a multi rugby complex and an additional multi sports complex. The CAVBS also owns an aquatic centre 10 min from the centre of preparation offering a sports and leisure aquatic area as well as a wellness area (whirlpools, hammam and sauna).
