Located in Chambéry, in the heart of the Alps, the Phare is a multi-purpose facility that has hosted numerous major events since 2009 (shows, concerts, handball matches, national and international sports competitions, congresses, company conventions, etc.). It offers functional and modular spaces that can be adapted to multiple configurations: a main room of 2,000 m², a secondary room of 1,000 m², 5 rooms with 100 to 200 seats, several meeting rooms and a press room. It is easily accessible by plane (45 minutes from the international airports of Lyon-Saint Exupéry and Geneva), by train (less 3 hours from Paris with a TGV high-speed train station in the city centre) or by car (500 m from the main motorways) and offers secure parking. Savoie, Chambéry and the Phare are a land of handball that has hosted the Chambéry Savoie Mont-Blanc Handball, a historic high-level team in the French championship, for more than 10 years.

The proximity of the Phare to the new Groupama academy of Chambéry Savoie Mont-Blanc Handball favours even more the conditions of reception and training of a handball team.

Modularity: The Phare has 2 halls that can host sports events. A main hall with 4,225 seats in handball configuration, approved for international competitions, and a secondary hall with 500 seats, both equipped with a high quality demountable floor.
