Description

Emilie Le Pennec gym was inaugurated in 1995. It is located in elbeuf sur Seine (76) in Normandy, about 100 km away from Paris. The gym was designed for gymnastics sports and it’s located in a small quiet park that allows you to find the link with nature, which is often appreciated by athletes and coaches. This park has a parking lot that can be privatized. The gym is very easy to access and its 5 minutes far from the city center. It was designed on 2 levels for a total surface of 1935 m² and a 492-seat grandstand. You can practice a variety of activities, such as : women's and men's artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, trampoline, acrobatic gymnastics or even voluntary gymnastics, since it has all the necessary equipments for the practice of both amateur gymnastics and also professionel level.

Special features

Emilie Lepennec gym has a reception hall, a meeting room, an infirmary, an office, a large storage room and several cloakrooms for both genders.

It has two platforms, one on each level of the complex, landing pits, trampolines, acrobatic lanyards, Women’s and men’s artistic gymnastics.

It is located 10 minutes from the city’s aquatic center.

While being 5 minutes from the city center, this gym is located on the edge of the national forest of Elbeuf sur Seine. (Wooded areas of 1200 hectares, an essential asset for athletes to be able to complete their physical preparation).

Elbeuf sur Seine has several medical centers including the CHI des Feugrais, 4 km away from this sports center.

Known for

The gym currently accommodates the 840 members of the Tempo Gym gymnastics club.

This club regularly participates in the final stages of the French championships in acrobatic gymnastics and also figures at the 2nd national level in men’s artistic gymnastics.

Many coaching courses are organized in Emilie Lepennec. Currently, the gym hosts two professional gymnasts from the Moroccan federation, who are preparing for the African championship, the World championship and for the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.
