Description
Opened in 2016, Le Caméléon (Chameleon) is a cultural and sports complex that can be adapted as you want it. To the south of the city, the complex, linked to Clermont-Ferrand by an SNCF stop is surrounded by a natural setting, which allows outdoor activities : cycling, biking, hiking, running, orienteering. Sports stadiums for football, tennis, rugby … irrigate the town. Although the site is famous for its badminton activity, you can also practice : climbing, hand ball, basketball, KARATE, GYM… thanks to modular spaces. Le Caméléon is made of : a multi-sports hall (1,097m² / 8 sports changing rooms and 2 referees / bleachers / Scoreboard / posts, nets, etc.), a multi-purpose area (395m²) which can be serparated into two, a refreshment area, a theater which can accomodate meetings and video broadcasts, secure storage. The complex is fully accessible to disabled people, the changing rooms are suitable for the hearing impaired. Wi-Fi allows video conferencing… The town hosts a shipping museum.
