Built in 2008 to host athlets in the best conditions for training (6000M2) the Multifunctional sports center of La Milliaire includes: -6 different types of sports equipements: a flexible gymnasium of total surface 800m2, a table tennis trainig room of 925 m2, a fencing trainig hall of 875 m2, a dojo with tatami surface of 700m2, a climbing wall -height 13m (including specificities such as speed, technical difficulties…) and a room of pan climbing of 100m2 with a total climbing surface of 250m2; - 14 locker rooms; - 1 drug screening room; -2 meetings rooms for clubs of 50m2 each ; - several warehouse areas; - Offices for the sports clubs. The center to fully accessible to handicaped or impaired people. This center is situated close to shops and restaurants within walking distance (3 min).

The building itself is flexible as dojo, table tennis and the multifunctional gymnasium can be  merged into one single hall.

It is also surrounded by hotels (5-10 min drive).

Known for

The multifunctional center of La Milliaire regularily hosts :

– Sports competitions both at regional and national levels (judo, climbing, fencing, table tennis, kickboxing…).

– Trainings for national teams (judo, fencing…).

In 2023, it will host the European Championship master of fencing.
