Built in 1965, the Kibitzenau swimming pool was the community’s first swimming pool to be built since the Municipal Baths at the beginning of the 20th century. With its Olympic pool and teaching pool, it has enabled several generations of Strasbourg residents to learn to swim. The new Kibitzenau swimming pool reopened its doors on Saturday, 12 July 2014 after 24 months of work and a complete restructuring; as such, it will now have a second life. The new Kibitzenau swimming pool now offers a complete range of sports and family activities.
