Description

The Kechiloa sports complex with track and field stadiums is located in a peaceful residential environment on the northern outskirts of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. There are two main, natural turf pitches with grandstands and an athletics track. Each pitch is for matches in specific sports: football and rugby. Athletics facilities include a 400-metre, all-weather Tartan track with 6 to 8 lanes and also areas for jumping and throwing disciplines. A weight-lifting room adjoins the site (150m).

The Kechiloa sports complex is located just 900m from the A63 motorway entrance and exit slips roads (Junction 3)  and 15 kilometres from Biarritz airport with 1-hour flights to Paris.

Saint-Jean-de-Luz is a seaside town nestling between the Atlantic Ocean and Pyrenean Mountains where life is eminently good with its five beaches including the central, 1-kilomtre fine sand beach. The town has numerous shops and major hotel and restaurant capacities. There is a very broad range of both cultural and sports activities and entertainment.

The Kechiloa stadium hosts French professional football teams for training programmes: LOSC (2010-2012), OM (2011), Girondins de Bordeaux (2017).

The athletics facilities host departmenal and regional championships every year.
