Cycling (road) Football
The Centre is 1h30 from the Marseille airport and 2h30 from the Nice airport. Departing from Digne-les-Bains, countless well-maintained circuits with varied terrain criss-cross the Alpes de Haute Provence department. Road traffic is low, especially on secondary roads. This area is well known by cyclists, and many sporting events are dedicated to them, from amateur races to the Tour de France. The turf of the football pitch of the Jean Rolland Stadium is very well maintained; it offers real playing comfort. There are 4 locker rooms of a surface area of 29m2. Light renovation works in the shower rooms would add a more modern touch to the facility. A 36m2 meeting room is available near the facilities. The football pitch is entirely fenced. The outer walls of the Jean Rolland Stadium can also be closed off to journalists as well as various observers thanks to a special installation. The technical areas will be changed to accommodate the delegations. The delegation bus can park directly inside the Jean Rolland Stadium allowing the delegations direct access to the pitch. The hotel is situated 4km from the stadium; the trip can be made by bus or minibus in less than 10 minutes. The Alpes de Haute Provence department is a rural and protected territory with exceptional landscapes (Gorges du Verdon etc.) and endowed with numerous emblematic sites (Haute-Provence UNESCO Global Geopark etc.). It is a paradise for outdoor activities and a place where the athletes can enjoy being in nature.
Digne-les-Bains is nestled between Provence and the Prealps, at an altitude of 600 metres. Its Mediterranean climate ensures plenty of sunshine.
This geographical location allows for the start of a large variety of routes that are conducive to the preparation of professional athletes.
In the immediate vicinity of the Jean Rolland Stadium, there is a gymnasium, weights room, meeting room…
Facilities, such as a swimming pool, sauna, hammam, jacuzzi, weights room, thermal spa…. are accessible from the hotel in under 15 minutes by bus or minibus. Two minibuses can be made available.
Spa town: Privileged access will be given to the delegations in order for them to enjoy the spa’s new wellness centre (september 2021)and the benefits of its thermal water.
Regional football competitions and various other events: Cup of the Alps Finals, international tournaments including 16 editions of the Tournoi International Poussins (until 2014) in the presence of Bayern Munich.
