The Jean Bouin Sports Complex and the Jean Bouin Nautical Stadium are located next to each other. The 2 facilities are separated by a large park. The sports complex consists of several grass and synthetic training fields. On the main stadium, there is the athletics stadium with an 8-lane track, a hammer throwing area and facilities for all athletics disciplines. The Jean Bouin Nautical Stadium consists of a 25m swimming pool with 8 lanes, a gymnasium approved for national handball and basketball matches, a weight room, a dance hall and squash courts. The 2 sites are surrounded by the Rougeau forest and its numerous tracks appreciated by runners and triathletes. From Savigny-le-Temple, the roads of Seine-et-Marne are renowned for their low traffic levels. It is a favourite terrain for local cyclists. Special features

The athletics stadium is configured for all disciplines, the hammer throw area is isolated from the track.

For the triathlon, the site is optimal as it combines all the characteristics required between the water sports stadium, the athletics stadium, the Rougeau forest with its numerous paths and the roads of Seine-et-Marne. The local triathlon club will share all these bike training circuits.

In handball, the gymnasium is approved for national level meetings.

Known for

The Savigny Sénart Athletics association organizes a national level meeting every year. The athletics stadium hosted in 2015 the N2 final of the French interclubs.

In athletics, many athletes of national or international level were trained on this stadium.

The gymnasium hosted matches of the Georges Iltis international tournament organised by the Ile-de-France handball league. This competition brought together junior women’s national selections such as France, Poland, Romania, Denmark, Hungary and Switzerland. Basket-ball and handball associations play their national and regional matches in the gymnasium.

Regional and national swimming meetings are held in the nautical stadium.
