Built in 1972 by Pierre BARTHES and innovated by Stan SMITH, it is a historic site of French tennis and welcomes players from all over the world and from multiple competitions throughout the year. Its 27 resin and clay courts, including 7 covered, all on an area of 4 hectares in the heart of Cap d'Agde, allow optimal practice throughout the year by combining all the services that players can expect. high level. During the 70s and 80s, the international tennis center was the main tennis center in France and Europe. Players from all around the world came to participate in the famous Pierre BARTHES camps which made his reputation.
Today it hosts every year the largest amateur tournament in France with more than 1,800 players, and hosts an academy as well, a tennis & school program and a high-level training center.
