Description

Unique in France, the International Centre for Table Tennis Training and Competition (CIFECTT) in Hennebont is an equipment dedicated specifically to the high level practice of table tennis. To this day, the City of Hennebont is recognized as an emblematic place of this sport in France, but also abroad. With the CIFFECT, it is preparing to welcome teams from France as well as from foreign countries as part of their preparation for major international competitions, including the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The CIFFECT, under construction, was designed with user experience in mind. The professional club GVHTT (Guarde du Voeu  Hennebont Table Tennis), accustomed to international competitions, was closely associated with the project, so that the equipment responds as closely as possible to the needs of high-level competitors. The Hennebont International Centre for Table Tennis Training and Competition will eventually consist of: - a specific practice room that can accommodate 16 tables on a playing surface of 1,400 m², changing rooms and related annexes, -  a VIP space, - a weight room, - a reception room, -  offices, -  a club house, -  meeting rooms, -  a medical centre, -  technical premises, - an accommodation and catering center. The equipment will be able to accommodate 1,000 seated spectators. It is expected to open in the first quarter of 2022.
