Description

Sélestat, capital of Center Alsace, is located on the Colmar-Strasbourg axis. Very dynamic and sporty city since it was rewarded with the prestigious trophy of the “most sporting city in France” in 2010. The community has an Intercommunal Sports Center with high level equipment including several multi-purpose rooms. -sports. A second piece of equipment, the Charlemagne sports area, which is just as complete, will be coming out of the ground very soon. The CSI is easily accessible by public transport: by bus (the delegation can travel by hybrid bus via a local company) and by train whose nearby station is served by the TGV. Quickly accessible also via the motorway crossing Alsace, the CSI has a car park with a capacity of 600 places. Finally, two airports within an hour of Sélestat serve the region. Known for

This equipment welcomes in its midst the Sélestat Alsace Handball playing, this year, in the French ProLigue Championship (2nd national division). This club has, in the past, also known the Starligue (1st national division).

The CSI regularly hosts international sporting events such as:

Each SAHB match is a real sporting spectacle at the CSI which is regularly sold out.
