Description

The Haras des Presnes is a place where you can train your horses for show jumping and eventing competition including: - A riding school with 18 boxes, a saddlery, a club house, a toilet / shower unit, a 258 m X 30 m pony arena, 1 round lounge and 15 ha of meadows   - A stable for equestrian sports and an eventing center made up of 20 boxes, a treatment room, a preparation room, a hot water - cold water shower room, a saddlery, a storage room, 2 studios, an inclined treadmill, a 20m 8-seater walker - Shared work areas :  60 m X 30 m covered quarry in “Normandy drainage” fiber soil, a large 80 m X 60 m quarry “Fontainebleau type” soil with automatic watering system, '' a new quarry of 60 m X 30 m ground "Lastik", a spring garden of one ha (cross country training ground including various hillocks, fords and holes and a mobile cross obstacle park) as well as 30 ha of marshes availables in summer for the stables. - Stables where your houses can stay tempory containing 18 boxes, a shower, two saddleries, a stable for veterinary examinations or farrier made of in rubber ground - An annex training site on the Davière beach : 9 miles of sand available to horses (sea bathing, galloping, balneotherapy) and the possibility of a box on site (racetrack near from the beach)   View our center : https://youtu.be/ygdRk2QhBBU

Special features

The team of The Haras des Presnes has been trained to welcome professionals from equestrian field. It has already been aproved for the preparation for international deadlines. Rodolphe SCHERER, a high-level rider who took part to several occasions in the Olympic Games and Olympic trainer, coached many with technical facilities for competition and his experience in Olympic preparation.

The training center is 15 minutes from the beach and offers the possibility of practice on the Davière beach for balneotherapy and galloping on the seaside.

The riders and their teams can stay on site thanks to the accommodation available (accommodation capacity :  lodgings n°1: 2 people, lodgings n°2: 4-5 peoples, lodgings n°3: 6-8 peoples).

Known for

In 2010, 5 riders from the South African Eventing Team came for the in preparation of the World Equestrian Games in LEXINGTON (USA)

Rodophe SCHERER, who manages the Haras des Presnes site, is a High Level rider registered on the ministerial list. He was the best French riderat the CAEN World Equestrian Games in 2014. In 2018, he was the national coach of the Indian eventing team (preparation, qualification and participation in the Asian Games in Jakarta with two individuals and team silver medals)

Aude SCHERER, co-manager of the site, trained for 6 years Victoria SCOTT, South African rider who has qualified and participated in 2018 at the World Equestrian Games of TRYON (USA).
