Description

A few steps from the Porte de Saint-Cloud, the banks of the Seine and the headquarters of the television channels (TF1, Canal Plus...), the Dôme gymnasium is located is located in a quiet neighboorhood close to the city center. The gymnasium will offer delegations the opportunity to train without being bothered by sunlight or glare, the room being located in the basement out of sight. Athletes will benefit from renovated sports equipment which will have 10 fencing tracks (14 m x 1.50 m) including quality soft ground and new equipment. LED lighting designed especially for this fencing hall will allow working in the best conditions, the space being equipped with disabled access.

The gymnasium is totally dedicated to the practice of fencing.

The proximity of this facility to Paris is an advantage for the athletes, who will be able to operate in the same geographical environment as that which they will frequent during the Olympic events.

The ambitious renovation of this hall will give way to new and excellent equipment, respecting the latest standards and recommendations issued by the fencing federation.

The nearest metro station (line 9) is a 7-minute walk from the venue.

Known for

High-level local sportswoman, Astrid GUYART, world and continental foil multi-medalist, is a partner on this project of the City of Boulogne-Billancourt, of which ACBB fencing is the resident club.
