Description

Our 3600m² “GRANDE HALLE” on the edge of the Etang de Berre is a unique place in France, which allows you to set up a covered Olympic village in which it is possible to enter rigged boats and all the infrastructure for the teams. The launching is a few ten meters from the room. The workouts will thus be optimized. The main windsurfing and kitesurfing spots of the Etang de Berre are located a few kilometers around. You will be able to arrange this space according to your needs, the number of athletes, vehicles and boats. Accommodation, catering, sports or meeting room, maintenance or repair workshop. Everything is possible thanks to a set of modular structures inside the room. It's tailor-made! Sheltered from bad weather or damage, the site is closed and secure, bordered by large parking lots. It also allows you to store your vehicles in the covered structure. The launch is a few meters from the infrastructure and allows you to navigate all year round without having to move. Whether for long stays or internships, you can leave your equipment on site and your operational base ready for the next training session and the Olympic events. We look forward to seeing you. The proximity of the motorway, the international airport and the TGV station, make our town a central point, easy to access which will allow you to reach your country of origin, Paris for the 2024 Olympic ceremonies, or the Marseille Olympic water plan (which is less than 30 minutes by motorway) with disconcerting ease.

Known for

The “Etang de Berre” is a famous and windy body of water having hosted many national and international competitions: French and World Championships in Martigues, PWA in Marignane and other regattas all around the pond.

The Club Nautique Berrois which sits on the sumptuous Plage des Merveilles (blue flag) has to its credit a French catamaran championship and many funboard regattas have taken place in our town in the past.

The municipal sailing school near the training center welcomes schoolchildren from the municipality all year round.
