Description

The Glaz Arena is a site that has been open since 2019. It can host different types of events such as shows, concerts, sports competitions (basketball, handball, volleyball as well as other sports), and company events. This venue, both modern and on a human scale, is very modular. It can switch from welcoming one event to another one very quickly. The aim of the company GROUPE LEGENDRE (the venue owner and constructor of the Olympic Village) is to be able to adapt to all eventual requests. The Glaz Arena has a seating capacity of 4500.The building is on two levels, including a vast entrance hall (950m²), a main sports hall (2200m²) a warm-up and training room (1300m²), 3 function rooms (from 175 m² to 560m²), changing rooms, a press room, dressing rooms and a private car park with 610 spaces. It is located in Cesson Sévigné, near Rennes, the capital of Brittany. This region is culturally diverse and has a rich history. You can discover many landscapes (the seaside, historical towns, forests), and discover its famous gastronomy and very warm and caring people. Access to the Glaz Arena is very simple : By plane : Rennes airport (55 mins from Paris) By train : Rennes train station (1 hour 30 mins from Paris) then Cesson Sévigné (5 mins from Rennes) By car / Bus : 3 hours 30 mins from Paris, 1 hour from Nantes, 45 mins from Mont St Michel and St Malo.
