The Plougastel Sports complex is on the outskirts of a small town in natural surroundings, close  to beautiful coastlines and countryside. The high quality facilities  are recent,  and regularly mainitained or upgraded. Plougastel was one of the first towns in Finistere to receive   the «  3 Lauriers » award  which is a quality label for towns which are actively involved in sport.  It is equally the first to be labelled «  Terre de jeux 2024 » . It obtained the largest number of sports disciplines  for its  preparation centre for the Olympic games . The quality of the facilities is irreproachable and  this has been highlighted by various delegations who have visited here. Plougastel,  nestling in the bay of Brest,  offers a unique experience to visitors and is a perfect destination for visiting  delegations.    Visitors to the town leave with fond memories, especially of the Plougastel  strawberries which are one of its specialities. Plougastel is a small town at the tip of  Brittany . There is always a warm welcome in a  peaceful environment far from the hustle and bustle of the city.  It boasts some of the most beautiful natural sites in the Brest Metropole area with 40 ks of beaches and natural cliffs.  There are 150 ks of paths and trails for all sorts of outdoor activities.

The Fontaine Blanche complex encompasses numerous communal amenities within a limited area    : a new  inclusive school  for the disabled,  a theatre with  seating for 2500 people, 5 multi sport  halls (and soon a  sixth one which will house the new indoor skate park) These sports facilites are commended for the high standard of the building.

• The Moroccan National Men’s Handball team ( postponed COVID )
• The Tunisian National Senior Ladies Team in preparation for the World Games in Brazil.
• The French University Cyling championship.
• France USA under 18 Women’s Football
• European championship team.
• U19 Futsal Team France and Poland
• Thierry Futeu : Workout during lockdown for Rugbymen from the French stadium.
• France Police Judo team ( training)
• Training International for Gouren in preparation for the the European Celtic wrestling championships
• Sucy Judo in preparation for the French championship which they went on to win
• French Trophy for Young Cyclists
• Championship of « France de l’avenir » : road cycling
• Sportbreiz , since it was founded : an elite Breton cycling race
