Trampoline gymnastics

Description

The youth and sports complex is a structure inaugurated in January 2017, featuring high-level, modern performance equipment designed for acrobatics :  Four Eurotramp trampolines, an in-ground trampoline equipped with a harness facing a foam pit,  a ‘fast-track’ trampoline leading to a foam pit, and a tumble track equipped end to end with a harness.  The ceiling is twelve metres in height. The site has side rooms available with floor space and mirrors, a meeting room, a multi-purpose room, showers, and changing rooms.  The Centre has been certified as a designated trampoline sports training facility. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaA8FViAI4g

Special features

The local club (Association Gymnique Fameckoise) has substantial experience in hosting and organizing events, as well as trampoline training.  The club has been certified as a ‘Training Club’ by the Féderation Française de Gymnasitque with a trampoline athlete on the French National Team.

The team of full-time staff and volunteers has contributed to the organization of the 2010 Trampoline World Championship in Metz, the 2006 European Championships as well as more than a dozen national and international competitions.

The facility is based in the city of Fameck in Moselle, ideally located in the 3 borders region of Luxembourg-Belgium-France. There is additionally access to several highways, an international airport, and a leisure centre with spas, hotels, a cryocentre, and recreation all within 30 km.

Known for

Since it’s completion in 2017, this site regularly hosts training camps for French club teams at the highest levels of trampoline and tumbling with the support of the city, the local club, and the department.

Team rankings, tests, and reviews have taken place on site with the French Junior and Senior National Trampoline Teams in 2018 and 2019 under the supervision of international trainers.
