Description

The Stade Ernest Wallon is an establishment open to the public and dedicated to rugby. It consists of a main pitch with a reinforced natural “Grass Master”, a grass training pitch and two approved synthetic pitches. The main pitch has the highest level of qualification from the French Rugby Federation as well as category 4 from the French Football Federation. The ernest wallon stadium hosts the competitions and training sessions of all the stadium toulousain teams as well as the professional matches of the Toulouse Olympique XIII (1st division english rugby league – Super League). The stadium also contains a year-round brasserie open 5 days a week and a shop open 6 days a week. A gymnasium with a surface area of 400m² has been fitted out for the training of our teams and allows for indoor rugby practice. The stadium also contains the professional training centre of the Stade Toulousain and benefits from all the requirements necessary for the daily life of a professionnal rugby team. The Stade Toulousain Tennis Club was created in 1923 and is part of the Stade Toulousain family in the same way as rugby. The club is an emblematic place in the Toulouse sports landscape. It has all the conditions to play tennis and padel all year round and in all weathers thanks to its numerous sports facilities :

  • 13 clay courts with lighting
  • 4 “green-set” courts (2 of which are covered and 2 are lit outside)
  • Mini-tennis courts with wall
  • A gym / weight room
  • An outdoor swimming pool
  • New changing rooms with secure lockers
These facilities provide a perfect home for the 1 000 members who belong to the club.

Special features

The main pitch, in addition to the quality of its competition area, is bordered by « English » stands with 18 679 seats ; the proximity of the stands to the pitch gives an exceptional atmosphere and immersion of the public.

The stadium has all the modern features of a sports venue with several function rooms for 50 people to 3 000 guests.

It also has all the facilities for a quality fan experience with a high standard of food & beverage.
The Ernest Wallon stadium is located less than 15 minutes from the Capitole place, the epicentre of the pink city !

The tennis club is located only a few kilometres from the city centre of Toulouse and its many attractions.

The Stade Toulousain enjoys a privileged location, halfway between Toulouse Blagnac Airport (located 5 minutes away by car) and the Matabiau train station (in the city centre and accessible in 15 minutes by car).

Players can also access the “pro-shop”, the stringing service, the John’s club house and its large terrace for lunch as well as the gym for warm-up and physical preparation.

As a proof of the quality of its facilities, the club has received the “Club Roland Garros” label from the French Tennis Federation, which is awarded to the best clay-court clubs in France.

The men’s team 1 of Stade Toulousain Tennis is in the first division of the French Championship. Recently, the team has won the French Championship 2022. It is notably composed of players who are among the 100 best in the world. Hugo Gaston (60th in the world singles, 1/8th finalist at Roland Garros and ¼ finalist at Paris-Bercy), Benjamin Bonzi (65th in the world in singles) and Hugo Nys (40th in the world in doubles) play and train with the club. Benjamin Bonzi and Hugo Gaston met during the last final of the Toulouse Internationals organised within the club !

The Stade Toulousain Tennis Club is also used to hosting and organising prestigious international events such as the ITF 25000$ and now a Challenger 46000$.
