Description
A large-scale sports and cultural facility of the multifunctional sports/entertainment type, combined with halls for leisure sports activities, to support the social and cultural development of the inhabitants. This new sports, cultural, educational and social complex, located in the heart of the Bac d'Asnières eco-district, which is undergoing major urban change, plans to house a tertiary sector centre, housing and local shops. The future facility will meet local sporting needs and will host high-level sporting events, individual practice areas, all types of clubs, handball, basketball, boxing, volleyball, judo, gymnastics, table tennis, badminton and futsal, with a capacity of 1,300 to 2,400 seats for all competitions. The sports facilities are exemplary and unique in terms of hosting activities and events for the disabled - they will promote the integration of people with disabilities through sport and enhance the quality of sporting use for all. It aims to become the benchmark sports facility for disabled sports competitions. Innovative equipment for hosting sports activities and events.
Special features
A large multipurpose, modular sports/entertainment hall measuring 46 x 27 metres with a height of 11 metres, equipped with fixed seating for 900 people and telescopic seating for 300 people + an annexed multipurpose sports hall measuring 32 x 12 metres and 7 metres high.
The plus: flexibility of adaptation to meet both the needs of clubs in local competition mode but also the hosting of national competitions with a larger hosting gauge.
A VIP area and a hundred parking spaces are provided in addition.
Located in an “eco-neighbourhood”, the future sports complex will meet the environmental and sustainable development challenges and will boast optimised energy performance (integration into its environment – low consumption performance – thermal and acoustic insulation – architectural quality).
Easier transport access: 2 new metro stations (M14) opened in 2020/2021, Clichy Levalllois stop (line L and J, 17 minutes walk away), Mairie de Clichy stop (M13, 13 minutes walk away).
Quality accommodation close to the sports complex. A favourable landscaped environment: nearby urban park Des Impressionistes for the recovery and physical preparation of the athletes.
The building is designed for television and video broadcasts (control room).
