Description

EKINOX lies between Lyon, Geneva and Paris with an excellent motorway network, high-speed rail (1 hr 50 from Paris and 50 mins from Lyon and Geneva) and two nearby international airports making it easy to reach. What sets it apart is its all-encompassing range of high standard local services : restaurants, hospitality, medical services etc., within 15 minutes and experienced in hosting elite athletes. The centre lies in the heart of a proudly sporty area (two other sites, MARCEL VERCHERE STADIUM and HORSE CENTER OF VENNES – JACQUES ROBERT, are also listed as Olympic training centres) that regularly hosts major national and international sporting events (Tour de France, Oxyrace Triathlon, Jumping International CSI**** etc.) and is home to teams (basket, football, rugby) playing at international and European level. The site is fully accessible and bordered by the greenway connecting the Forest of Seillon and the Bouvent nautical base.

Special features

EKINOX is the official JL BOURG BASKET professional team venue that opened in 2014 and has made its mark as one of the championship’s most modern venues and regularly appreciated by technical audiovisual teams during TV broadcasts.

The fully-configurable site has a new free car park with 2 000 spaces. There’s an area for HGVs to unload their goods inside the building.

Ekinox is part of Ainterexpo, the region’s nerve centre for events. A hospitality team will ensure the site is tailored to suit your requirements.

Known for

The JEEP ELITE championship, play-offs, Eurocup, Acrobatic Rock’n’Roll World Championship, French Gymnastics Championship and other major competitions are held at Ekinox.

The venue is entirely modular meaning it can host a basketball match one evening and a concert the next.
