Description

Located in the heart of the Creuse Valley, between Châteauroux and Limoges, only 3 hours away from Paris, the Eguzon outdoor activity center is by the largest lake in the Centre region of France. It is a 312-hectare lake known for rowing, canoening and kayaking practice, with 2 possible shipping lanes, surrounded by a calm and protected environment. Our center is the perfect place to fully focus on attaining your goals.   Our accomodation opened its doors in June 2022. It is a brand new facility of superior hotel quality which will meet your expectations. 56 beds are available over two floors in 23 bedrooms (19 double bedrooms, 3 bedrooms for 4 and 1 bedroom for 6). All including private bathrooms. There is also 3 bedrooms for person with reduced mobility.   Our restaurant, with a capacity of 110 seats, offers a quality, friendly and customizable service, whatever the catering formula you choose. You will enjoy our large terrace with its wonderful view on the lake during your meals. A coffee area with seats and a bar will also be at your disposal.   In order to best organize and prepare your trainings, you have access to our 120m² conference room, with audio and video equipment.   sportive equipment is available at our gym, along with a sauna to allow an optimal physical preparation and recovery.   For practical training, the Eguzon lake is right at the foot of the accommodation. Come surpass your limits in the middle of nature, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. The Eguzon lake has hosted several international sporting events :

• A stage of kayak competitions in 1969.
• The final of the European water speed skiing championships in 2011, 2012 and 2013.

We are also hosting, every two years, the Nantes rowing cadet teams, one of the best French rowing clubs.

And for more than 30 years, the SNO and SNHS rowing clubs for their spring training courses.
