Description

The Declais-Trioulaire boxe club, inaugurated in 2009 in former industrial wastelands, is located in the town of Elbeuf sur Seine (76). It is in the immediate vicinity of the city center. This boxing gym makes it possible to link the rich industrial past of the city with sport. Here we can practice English boxing, Muay Thai "Thai boxing", etc ... It is an ideal place to train especially for high level athletes. It is 10 minutes away from the city's aquatic center and the « Cerisaie » sports complex. The boxing hall has also a parking, which is an essential element for the well-being of athletes and staff.

Special features

This gym has a surface area of 450 m² and has 2 large cloakrooms, a 9 m² office and a 60 m² mezzanine.

It has all the recent equipments needed for boxers’ training : speed bags, folding jib cranes, punching bags, fixed or adjustable speed platforms and two rings with floor.

While being 5 minutes from the city center, the boxing gym located on the edge of the national forest of Elbeuf sur Seine. (Wooded areas of 1200 hectares, an essential asset for athletes to be able to complete their physical preparation).

The city has several medical centers including the CHI des Feugrais, 4 km from the boxing center.

Known for

The boxing Ring of Elbeuf sur Seine « Le Ring Agglomération Elbeuvienne », resident club, of the Declais-Trioulaire venue has trained many champions including Daniel Trioulaire, several times champion of France and champion of Europe in the 1970s.

Many other champions have been trained at the club, which demonstrates the high quality of this room for the preparation of high level athletes.

This is why Brice Bassolé, boxing champion of Burkina Faso, came to enhance his preparation for the London Olympic Games in 2012.
