Description

The CREPS exercises, on behalf of the State, major missions for French sport : The training and preparation of sportsmen registered on the ministerial lists, in liaison with the sports federations; Participation in the national high-level sport network, the carrying out of university work and the operation of national centers of resources and expertise in the fields of sport, youth and popular education; The implementation of initial and continuing training in the fields of physical or sports activities as well as youth and popular education; The organization of the initial and continuing training of State officials carrying out their missions in the fields of sport, youth and popular education.   CREPS exercises, on behalf of the Region, the following missions : Welcoming and supporting regional athletes; The promotion of actions in favor of sport in the service of health and sport for all; The development of activities in favor of youth and popular education; The development of training offers in sports and animation professions, in accordance with the needs identified by the regional training plan, in conjunction with the Association for the Promotion of Sport and Animation Professions (APMSAA).

Special features

The Nancy CREPS is part of the GRAND INSEP (National Institute of Sport, Expertise and Performance) network, the aim of which is to develop the service offer for high-level athletes in the region. This network is the essential tool for sporting excellence in order to consolidate France’s rank among the great sporting nations.

The Nancy CREPS is silver labeled because it meets the precise specifications drawn up by INSEP & the French Federations. The Nancy CREPS fully meets the requirements of High Level Sport through the optimal training, preparation and recovery conditions offered to the athlete, but also through the quality of these sports and medical facilities.

Known for

Boxing: National detection course.

Identify the boxers likely to feed the French Youth teams in the short or medium term and those likely to join the Pôle France Jeunes of the establishment in the future.

Table tennis: In partnership with the regional leagues and the French federation, around fifteen very young table tennis players, boys and girls, had been summoned to CREPS in Nancy for a national detection course.

Archery: Lisa BARBELIN, former archer at the France pole of CREPS in Nancy, competing at the CPO in Vittel to win her selection for Tokyo 2021.

Rowing: Winter preparation for the rowers of the CREPS poles in Nancy (Emma CORNELIS, Camille JUILLET, Benoît BRUNET, the ONFROY brothers).
