Description

Situated in a natural well-preserved environment; crossed by the GR 364, an orienteering course, mountain bike and jogging routes and walking trails, the CREPS de Poitiers is the 2nd largest CREPS in France. The “Château de Boivre”, in the middle of a lush green setting of 42 ha, is surrounded by top sport facilities adapted to high level sport, training courses and sports animation, and research. The sport center is composed of 5 accommodation facilities, a restaurant, sports facilities, a medical center, a swimming-pool and lecture rooms suitable for high level training courses. We propose 22 778 m² for indoor facilities including 11588 m² for 15 sport facilities, 28 774 m² outdoor sports facilities for 17 sport fields, for a total of 26 facilities adapted for disabled persons. High-performance sport is the primary mission of the institute, who is active in the “Grand INSEP” network to strengthen its action by supporting federal performance projects. The center is located 1h18 from Paris by train, 10’ from the Poitiers-Biard airport, 10 min from the highway A10, 1h03 from Bordeaux by train and 15’ from the center of Poitiers.
